Kryptonite - Kryptolok Standard D Lock w/Keys - Rated Gold

Brand:Kryptonite

Code:GK001966

The Kryptonite Kryptolok Standard is a dependable everyday bike lock for commuters and city riders who want strong protection without overcomplicating the carry-and-lock routine. It combines Sold Secure Gold-rated security with a hardened steel shackle, a double deadbolt design, and a practical carry system for daily use.

Key Features:

  • Sold Secure Gold certified.
  • Hardened steel shackle for strong anti-cut protection.
  • Double deadbolt design helps resist twist attacks.
  • Includes 2 stainless steel keys and Key Safe support on some listings.
  • Easy bike transport with FlexFrame bracket.

Why Riders Choose the Kryptolok Standard

This lock is built for riders who need a balance of security, convenience, and everyday portability. It is a strong fit for commuting, quick stops, and locking up in medium to higher theft-risk areas, where a basic cable lock is not enough. The lock’s compact format makes it easier to carry than heavier premium options, while still delivering the level of protection many insurers expect from a Gold-rated lock.

How the lock protects your bike

The shackle is made from hardened steel to make cutting and leverage attacks much harder, while the double deadbolt system adds extra resistance against twist attacks. The lock also uses a high-security disc-style cylinder, which is designed to resist picking and drilling. That combination makes it a credible choice for riders who want a serious lock for everyday urban use rather than a lightweight accessory lock.

What it's best for:

  • Commuting by bike in towns and cities.
  • Leaving a bike outside shops, cafes, and offices.
  • Locking in medium to high theft-risk areas.
  • Riders who want a practical everyday Gold-rated lock.
  • Customers who want a compact lock that is easier to carry than larger premium models.
