Knog - Scout Bike Alarm and Finder

Brand:Knog

Code:KNG12998

The Knog Scout provides unparalleled bike security by combining both an extremely loud 85dB bike alarm function with a highly accurate bike finder, using Apple’s ‘Find My’ app.

Once armed, any movement of a Scout-fitted bike will trigger the motion-sensitive audio alarm, discouraging any further movement and alerting the bike’s owner. This alert is sent both by the sound of the alarm and via a notification automatically sent to the owner’s iPhone (when in Bluetooth range).

In a scenario where a bike fitted with Scout is not where the owner has left it, it can be quickly located using Apple’s network via the ‘Find My’ app.

Arming or disarming the Scout alarm can be achieved in two ways: via the button on the side of the device when the connected iPhone is in close proximity (less than 1.5m), or via the Knog app when the device is within Bluetooth range.

Scout’s extremely low profile and compact design allows for it to be neatly bolted and hidden underneath a bottle cage. This is a great way to keep Scout hidden.

Scout features dual-function LEDs that show at a glance if the Scout is alarmed. The same LEDs display the charge status of the battery.

Features:

  • Motion-sensitive 85dB alarm: A loud 85dB alarm is triggered if your bike gets moved. Easy to turn on/off within the Knog app.
  • Track it everywhere: Scout Bike uses Apple Find My technology, so iOS users can pinpoint their bike anytime.
  • Long battery life: The battery can last 2 to 6 months (pending usage) between charges, and notifications let you know when it is running low.
  • Discreet and secure: Scout Bike mounts under your bottle cage using proprietary tamper-proof security screws. If you prefer to use Scout as a visual deterrent, you can use the supplied neon silicone cover.
  • Rugged: Scout Bike is water resistant and dust proof (IP66), so it can handle any type of riding and weather conditions.
